DAVID LILLIS "DAVE" BARR AND DOROTHY KOPP-BARR FAMILY
David Lillis "Dave" Barr was born in 1924 Marshall, Missouri to Robert Lee Barr, Sr, and Frances Amelia "Millie" Weis-Barr. Calvin Coolidge becomes the first President of the United States to deliver a radio broadcast from the White House and later signs the Indian Citizenship Act of 1924 into law, granting citizenship to all Native Americans born within the territorial limits of the United States. Dorothy Kopp was born March 21, 1929, to Herbert H Kopp and Alma Cunningham Kopp. She lived in Saline County her entire life, and was a graduate of Mercy Academy.
