ROBERT LEE BARR III AND
MARY FRANCES "SUSIE" STUART-BARR FAMILY

Robert Lee Barr III was born in 1947 to Robert Lee Barr Jr and Margaret Teresa "Marge" Ferris-Barr, the same year as David Bowie, Farah Fawcett, Darrell Waltrip, Elton John, David Letterman, Iggy Pop, Tommy James, Carlos Santana, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Stephen King, Sammy Hagar, Richard Dreyfuss, Ted Danson, Carlton Fisk, and Joe Walsh.

Robert grew up with three brothers and three sisters in Kansas City. His father Robert Lee Barr would have served in WWII before starting their family with Marge. Robert would eventually meet and marry Mary Frances Stuart.

Mary Frances "Susie" Stuart was born to Francis Stuart and Mary Stuart.

Robert would marry Susie in 1972, the year U.S. President Richard Nixon orders the development of the space shuttle program, just prior to the Watergate Scandal that ultimately ended his presidency.

The couple settled in Overland Park, Kansas, where they raised their three children, and have several grandchildren.
